Tropical Acres Steakhouse, owned and operated by the same family since 1949, has just celebrated its 68th Anniversary. We've seen many changes and grown with the years. Our strong commitment to maintain quality and prices has enabled us to withstand the economic ups and downs faced by many South Florida restaurants over the last decade.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy has always been to give the customer the most value for their dollar. We know we've given more food value, but value is a lot more than menu price. It is the way you are greeted and treated, it's the quality of your dining experience, and it's the little extra courtesies that make dining out a special occasion. Dining out is more than just a meal, and we've strived for years to make it a very pleasant experience for our guests. Serving the best food at sensible prices in a friendly, caring atmosphere is what we do best, and we believe this is what keeps our guests coming back.

We are grateful for our strong customer base and welcome newcomers every week who have just discovered the values of Broward's Oldest Steakhouse & Seafood Restaurant. And, we are very appreciative of our loyal employees, many who have traveled this path of success with us for many years. As we enter our 68th year, under the management of our 3rd and 4th generation, we invite you to join us for dinner some evening and experience the secrets of our success.

Community Partner

For the past sixteen years Tropical Acres’ employees have partnered with The Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center in downtown Fort Lauderdale.  Founded in 1983, the Center’s mission is to promote the optimal health and well-being of children with special healthcare needs.  They do this by providing prevention, intervention and treatment services within a medical home environment.

Year after year our employees have made The Center their Christmas project.  Many years ago, our matriarch, Mrs. S (Ceil Studiale), suggested to our employees that instead of buying gifts for us, they put their hard-earned money towards those less fortunate;  this is how our relationship with this wonderful Center evolved.  Our employees start early in December collecting toys, food and cash, and it has become a very rewarding effort by all.   Throughout the year, we contribute to their fund raisers and donate hundreds of pounds of fresh ground beef to supplement their food pantry.

The Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center serves over 11,000 clients annually in Broward County, and Tropical Acres is proud to be a small part of that service. See for yourself the wonderful works of this not-for-profit organization www.browardhealth.org/CDTC
